Hi, I'm Karen Foster, a former journalist with more than 20 years' experience in the communications industry. I am passionate about communications and love helping clients find their authentic 'voice'!


With more than 20 years' experience in the communications industry, Karen established o2 Media in 2007. She has a personal interest in strategic communications and stakeholder relations. During her career she has worked in the print and electronic media in regional Victoria, Adelaide and Canberra. Later, Karen lectured in Journalism ethics at Deakin University, where she helped to overhaul significant elements of the Journalism degree. Karen moved into Public Relations and Marketing some 13 years ago. In 2010, o2 Media was awarded a contract to provide Executive Officer services to the Great South Coast Group. Karen has personally overseen the bulk of this work for the past two years. Karen holds a Bachelor of Arts degree (double major in Philosophy and Communications) from the University of Adelaide and now lives in Port Fairy with her husband, two children and a menagerie of animals!
